It is a free game site maintained by an independent developer, so the wording is deliberately plain. The Site hosts several games that run directly in your browser, original written guides, and links to open-source projects. Everything is free, with no registration, purchases or subscriptions. Games and pages may be added, changed, paused or removed at any time, and game balance may be retuned; long-term availability is not guaranteed. Significant changes are logged under "Recent updates" on the homepage.
You may play the games, read the guides and quote short passages for personal, non-commercial purposes with attribution. The following are not permitted:
Game source code is published on GitHub and governed by the licence file in each repository; where a repository states no licence, please ask via the contact page before reuse.
The guides, page design and editorial arrangement are original to the Site and are offered for personal study and non-commercial use. Reprints and quotations must keep attribution and a link to the original on shouyou.me. Large-scale copying, use in training datasets, or commercial redistribution requires prior permission. Game names, icons and third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Puzzle Workshop can generate a board from your own photo. Images are processed locally in a canvas and are never uploaded to our servers; the Site cannot view or store them. You are responsible for having the right to use any image you load and for not uploading material that infringes privacy, copyright or the law. Disputes arising from uploaded content rest with the uploader.
Progress, settings and records are stored in your browser's localStorage. The Site offers no cloud sync, account recovery or save restoration. Clearing site data, switching browsers or devices, incognito mode, browser upgrades or system failures can all make a save unreadable. Please export a backup of any run you care about; the Site is not liable for lost saves.
The Site displays ads through Google AdSense to cover domain and hosting costs, and uses Google Analytics 4 for aggregate usage statistics. Some games offer optional rewarded entries — an undo, a revive or unlocking a spare bottle — and remain fully playable without them. Ads and analytics follow your cookie choice; see the privacy policy.
The Site also links to external services such as GitHub. Their content, availability and privacy practices are outside our control; following an external link means leaving the Site.
The Site is provided "as is", without express or implied warranties: we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free pages, compatibility with every device or browser, or that every number in a guide matches the current game build forever. Guides are written against the source at publication time; rebalances can introduce drift, and corrections are welcome via the contact page.
